Steve Irwin Day, CRIKEY.

Australia’s famous zoo, has just celebrated ‘Steve Irwin day’ in memory of the legend himself who sadly passed away on 15th November doing something he loved, exploring wildlife. The sting of a stingray unfortunately caused Steve’s death, but every year his life is celebrated at his famous Zoo. The original crocodile hunter, wore khaki colour clothing during his adventures, the day is celebrated by workers and visitors joining together wearing Khaki clothes in remembrance of the original croc hunter. Steve loved wildlife and he also loved his family, who are also animal enthusiasts, they currently run Australia Zoo and are keen to educate visitors about conservation and maintaining the environment. The Zoo allows visitor to get up close with many large and scary animals, including Tigers, Alligators, Snakes and of course salt water Crocodiles. The staff working at the zoo are friendly and are always wanting to give advice and information regarding the animals they care for. CRIKEY!
